The T&T Fire Ser­vice will con­duct re­pairs and tests to the Salt Wa­ter Sys­tem Pumps at Pump House II on Wright­son Road, Port-of-Spain, to­mor­row. Ac­cord­ing to a re­lease from the Min­istry of Na­tion­al Se­cu­ri­ty, the test­ing will be done be­tween 9 am and noon and will be con­duct­ed by the Fire Ser­vice Wa­ter Sec­tion Staff.

The pur­pose of the ex­er­cise is to test the ca­pac­i­ty of the city's salt wa­ter hy­drants. The min­istry, in its re­lease, said dur­ing that time, some salt wa­ter hy­drants in and around Port-of-Spain will be opened and at times salt wa­ter would flow.
