Two co­or­di­nat­ed op­er­a­tions in Arou­ca and La Hor­quet­ta on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 10, 2025, re­sult­ed in the seizure of a firearm and am­mu­ni­tion, the re­cov­ery of a stolen ve­hi­cle, and sev­er­al ar­rests.

Be­tween 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in Arou­ca, of­fi­cers act­ing on in­tel­li­gence ob­served a sil­ver Nis­san Ti­i­da with bro­ken glass, lat­er con­firmed stolen from Mal­abar, and it was towed for fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion.

Lat­er, be­tween 7:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. in La Hor­quet­ta, house search­es un­cov­ered a Smith & Wes­son pis­tol with one mag­a­zine and three rounds of .40 cal­i­bre am­mu­ni­tion, while six men aged 27 to 40 were ar­rest­ed for shoot­ing en­quiries, out­stand­ing war­rants, and traf­fic of­fences in­clud­ing dri­ving with­out in­sur­ance and no taxi badge.
