Investigations are continuing into the abduction of a pensioner in Freeport on Sunday night.
According to a police report, around 9:30 pm the 69-year-old victim was at home at Arena Road, when a group of people, armed with various objects, entered his open front door, and beat him about the body.
They then grabbed him and forced him into a white Hyundai pickup van.
The victim was then taken to a secluded bushy area along Siewdass Road, Freeport, where he was dropped off.
The suspects then escaped.
