HDC’s Maloney office has advised residents of Maloney Gardens affected by a recent police exercise that they can make reports to the Police Complaints Authority (PCA).
The advice comes after it received 12 complaints of damage done to HDC apartments during the police exercise on Sunday.
Residents said there was extensive damage to their external and bathroom doors, burglar proofing, and windows.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), it conducted a house search exercise under Operation Horizon.
Buildings 14 and 16 of Maloney Gardens were searched for firearms and ammunition, however, nothing illegal was found initially.
1.8 kilogrammes of cannabis, and 19 rounds of ammunition and a stolen vehicle were found during a subsequent search.
Three people were detained in connection.
