Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice were forced to re­move ven­dors from High Street in San Fer­nan­do, this morn­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to the ven­dors, around 6:30 am to­day, po­lice of­fi­cers told them that they are no longer al­lowed to vend on Mon Cha­grin Street and Ras Shorty I Street.

The San Fer­nan­do may­or stopped vend­ing on High Street two weeks ago but al­lowed the ven­dors to sell on the side streets off High Street, un­til the des­ig­nat­ed vend­ing zones were ready.

De­spite be­ing warned, some of the ven­dors went to Mon Cha­grin Street, say­ing that they were will­ing to get ar­rest­ed.
