Municipal Police were forced to remove vendors from High Street in San Fernando, this morning.
According to the vendors, around 6:30 am today, police officers told them that they are no longer allowed to vend on Mon Chagrin Street and Ras Shorty I Street.
The San Fernando mayor stopped vending on High Street two weeks ago but allowed the vendors to sell on the side streets off High Street, until the designated vending zones were ready.
Despite being warned, some of the vendors went to Mon Chagrin Street, saying that they were willing to get arrested.
