Kenny J has died from COVID-19.
The singer, whose real name is Kenwrick Joseph died this morning at the Augustus Long, Hospital.
His daughter confirmed to Guardian Media, that Joseph had been at the hospital for the last two weeks being treated for COVID-19.
He was famous for several Christmas soca parang hits including The Paint Brush and Alexander and worked as a police officer before venturing into music.
Kenny J was 69-years-old.
