A man from South Trinidad escaped unhurt after his attackers forced his car to stop and opened fire on him on Sunday.
The incident took place around 1.30 pm in San Fernando.
The 49-year-old manager told police that he was driving his vehicle through San Fernando when on reaching near a junction a gold Nissan Almera coming from the opposite direction pulled in front of his car and both cars collided. He said the front left passenger, wearing no mask and with a short black kinky twist hairstyle, came out of the Almera and fired at him.
The victim told police he quickly reversed his car and managed to escape without being shot.
PC Ramberan is investigating.
