The man who was killed in Laven­tille on Tues­day evening has been iden­ti­fied.

Po­lice said the vic­tim has been iden­ti­fied as Mic­ah Joseph of 9th Av­enue, Barataria.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said around 6:15 pm of­fi­cers of the Port-of-Spain Task Force re­spond­ed to a re­port of a man seen ly­ing on the road at Fos­ter Queve­do Block 8.

The man was shot mul­ti­ple times in the head and body.

He was tak­en to the Port-of-Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where he was pro­nounced dead.

So far, po­lice have no mo­tive for his killing.
