Clax­ton Bay beau­ty Mar­ti­na Ma­hase, 25, has been crowned Miss Di­vali Na­gar 2019. Mar­ti­na beat a field of five fel­low con­tes­tants from var­i­ous parts of the In­di­an Di­as­po­ra on Fri­day night to take home the crown and the $20,000 first prize. Ma­hase is a project en­gi­neer with the Rur­al De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion and is no stranger to the pa­gent world. Ma­hase said she was elat­ed to have copped the first prize. Plac­ing sec­ond and third re­spec­tive­ly were Miss Cana­da Kris­tiana Mc Carthy and Miss Be­lize Ar­lee Parham.
