The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation is reminding the public that its recall of Priority Bus Route (PBR) Letter Permits continues—specifically those numbered 0001 through 0645—and that “these Permits shall be rendered invalid as of Tuesday 1 July 2025.
The Ministry is strongly encouraging holders of PBR Letter Permits to return them to the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation before the expiry date.

The Ministry also outlined the steps for those wishing to apply for New PBR Letter Permits.
“Individuals or entities are also reminded that to re-apply or obtain a PBR Letter Permit, a new application MUST be submitted as part of the updated process. Applicants are required to submit a “Letter of Application” addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation,” the Ministry’s advisory explained.
It notes that the document may be hand-delivered to the Ministry’s Head Office or emailed to pbrapplications@mowt.gov.tt and that application letters must be accompanied by supporting documents and include the following information:
