Venezuelan Justice Minister Diosdado Cabello is alleging that another batch of weapons has been seized in Venezuela coming from T&T.

During Wednesday night's broadcast of the programme “Con El Mazo Dando”, transmitted by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Cabello reported that as part of the ongoing investigation being carried out by the Government in Caracas against destabilization plans, the weapons from T&T were seized in eastern Venezuela on Tuesday.

"We announced an operation and yesterday they seized another batch of weapons at a site in eastern Venezuela. Some of these weapons were brought in from Trinidad," he said.

Cabello also made reference to an investigative piece by the Venezuelan digital media outlet “La Tabla” in which he said it was reported that more than 100,000 cartridges were lost in T&T and no one knows where they are.

"It was an investigation conducted by that website, and when we say something is wrong, they (T&T) get offended."

Cabello added, "we're not saying what they were going to do with the weapons so as not to get into the details", but "behind this is the narco-paramilitary and the opposition in Venezuela, which has no scruples and is capable of allying itself with anyone to gain power in the country, but they haven't been able to, and never will be able to."

On Monday, the justice minister described as "crazy" statements made by Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar last Thursday when she threatened to use lethal force against any Venezuelan vessel entering T&T waters.

At the time the Prime Minister was responding to claims by Cabello that a T&T national, “Gis Kendel Jheron”, had been arrested along with Colombian paramilitaries attempting to enter Venezuela to destabilize the country.

During my consultation with Ms Brafit CEO Nicole Joseph-Chin, what was supposed to be a simple mastectomy bra fitting became something much deeper. Her thoughtful questions unlocked emotions I didn’t even realise I was holding in. She comforted, reassured, and helped me face the truth of what was coming. That bra wasn’t just clothing—it was the first real symbol of life after surgery.
