A Mor­vant ma­son, whose alias was “Doh Sleep,” was killed whilst help­ing to build a house in San Juan yes­ter­day.

Jun­mant Cros­by, 41, of Poin­set­ta Ex­ten­sion, Mor­vant, was said to have been at a site at St Joseph Street, off San­ta Cruz Old Road, San Juan, around 10.15 am, when a heav­i­ly-tint­ed white SUV stopped and two armed sus­pects got out.

It was al­leged the men be­gan shoot­ing at Cros­by, who was in the com­pa­ny of six oth­er men at the time.

As the group scat­tered and took cov­er in near­by bush­es, the gun­men con­tin­ued to pur­sue them.

As Cros­by and the oth­ers made their way to the San­ta Cruz Old Road, he was cor­nered by the gun­men and shot as he lay on the road.

The gun­men then walked back in­to the bush­es and re­turned to the wait­ing truck.

Mean­while, an uniden­ti­fied man died af­ter be­ing stabbed by an­oth­er man at Busy Cor­ner, Ch­agua­nas, ear­ly yes­ter­day.

The African male was said to have been in­volved in a knife-fight with his killer around 2.10 am near the Unique Store. —An­na-Lisa Paul
