A Morvant pensioner was stabbed multiple times by a male relative during an altercation on Wednesday and later died at hospital.
The victim was identified as Kerwin Mark, 68, of Angelina Terrace, Morvant.
The suspect, who is an outpatient of the Wellness Centre in Barataria, was seen leaving the family home around 12.30 pm on September 30.
Shortly after, Mark’s brother went searching and found him lying in a pool of blood in the house.
He alerted nearby persons who took the injured man to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Efforts were underway yesterday to locate the suspect, who has not been seen since.
A red-handle ice-pick and one pink-coloured knife were recovered at the scene.
