Lopinot Bon Air West MP Mar­vin Gon­za­les and D' Abadie O' Meara MP Lisa Mor­ris Ju­lian vis­it­ed the home of Tere­sa Lynch who was swept away in flood wa­ters yes­ter­day.

Lynch of La Pas­to­ra had been cross­ing a ravine with her broth­er William Ram­lo­gan when she slipped and fell in­to the wa­ters.

Gon­za­les said Lynch who lives in a con­stituen­cy neigh­bour­ing his, has Lopinot roots. The fam­i­ly is be­ing sup­port­ed by him and Mor­ris Ju­lian as the search for Lynch con­tin­ued.

Gon­za­les prayed with the fam­i­ly in­clud­ing Lynch's fa­ther.

With rain con­tin­u­ing all night in some places, Gov­ern­ment said ear­li­er this morn­ing the Rur­al De­vel­op­ment and Lo­cal Min­istry would have been re­ceiv­ing up­dates through­out the night from the Dis­as­ter Man­age­ment Units and an up­date would be giv­en.

The RDLG Min­istry had warned yes­ter­day that runoff of wa­ter is af­fect­ed by high tide which was due at 1.30 PM yes­ter­day.
