The list of events for the Tobago Carnival in October has been released.
There will be five main events hosted by the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) accompanied by several private fetes and other shows.
The five THA events include:
October 28 - Pan in the Gayelle - Garden Side Car Park
October 29 - J’Ouvert - Crown Point
October 29 - Night Mas - Roxborough
October 29 - Emerge Carnival Masquerade Gala - TBA
October 30 - Parade of the Bands - Scarborough
The calendar of private events so far includes:
September 25 – Soaked - Roxborough
October 1 – Dream - Shaw Park Cultural Complex
October 22 – The Hideout - Argyle Waterfall
October 23 – Revel - on board the Harbour Master
October 26 – Waddap Wednesday - Canoe Bay
October 27 – Pink Brunch (venue to be announced)
October 28 – Floats and Bikinis - on board the Harbour Master
October 28 – Finesse - on board the Embassy
October 28 – Daylight (venue to be announced)
October 29 – Mud Festival - Crown Point
October 29 – Soiree (venue to be announced)
October 29 – TUCO Tobago Lime - Tropikist Hotel
The THA is hoping to turn the October Carnival into a permanent fixture on Tobago’s calendar.
