Panora­ma 2020 will be launched to­mor­row at 5 pm at the Phase 11 Pan Groove The­atre, Samuel Dri­ve, Wood­brook, be­hind the old Roxy Cin­e­ma.

Pan Trin­ba­go pres­i­dent Bev­er­ly Ram­sey-Moore and the ex­ec­u­tive board had brought on board an ear­li­er start to Panora­ma events and sev­er­al oth­er changes.

The sin­gle pans start the ball a-rolling on No­vem­ber 3.

There are two ma­jor changes agreed to by the mem­ber­ship.

1: Bands will be judged on the song they se­lect. They can­not change vers­es in (songs) mid-stream; which means that there will be no change of the choice of tune, as ob­tained with Ex­o­dus Steel Or­ches­tra ear­li­er this year in a court mat­ter.

2: An­oth­er ma­jor change is that pan­men will play on­ly for one band. What this means is the era of the "crack shot" pan­man is over; these pan­men used to play for sev­er­al bands. To­day's launch will fea­ture First Cit­i­zens' Su­per­novas, Had­co Phase 11 Pan Groove, De­fence Force Steel Or­ches­tra and Melo­di­ans.
