Several men accused of involvement in violent home invasion gangs across Central and South Trinidad, have been detained under Preventative Detention Orders (PDOs) issued under the Emergency Powers Regulations, 2026.
Among them are O’Neal Neemar, also known as “Dougla” and “Oneal Williams;” Jeremy Joseph, also known as “Lal;” and Nathaniel Ramirez, also known as “Tam Tam;” all of whom authorities say are members of an unnamed organised crime group operating in Central Trinidad.
According to the detention orders, the group has access to firearms and ammunition and has been engaged in a spate of armed and violent home invasions across Central Trinidad.
Authorities allege the men intended to escalate the attacks and use firearms in public spaces if confronted by law enforcement.
Joseph was specifically described as being responsible for target identification and sourcing firearms for the group, while Ramirez was identified as a “breaker” for the organisation.
Additional detention orders were issued for alleged members of other crime groups linked to armed home invasions and robberies.
Fibe Goring and Mikey Boodram, also known as “Mikey Kerr,” were identified as members of the Bangladesh Gang, which authorities say has been involved in shootings, armed home invasions, firearm trafficking and retaliatory attacks.
Akeem Phillip, Dillon Chootoo, Isiah Fortune and Jaheem Smith were also detained over allegations linking them to armed home invasions, robberies and violent assaults.
Meanwhile, Jamal Sambury, also known as “Fifty” and “Gen,” was identified as a member of the Mandingo Boys, an organised crime group allegedly involved in armed robberies, home invasions and narcotics trafficking.
In a separate detention order, Troy Clifton Gregoire was accused of using drones to smuggle contraband, including firearms, narcotics and mobile phones, into a correctional facility.
Another detainee, Jonathan Ryan, also known as “Johnny,” was accused of involvement in planned robberies, retaliatory shootings and firearm trafficking linked to an organised crime group operating in the Tobago Road area.
