The sister of Kimalee Larmont John, a Jamaican-born female, is calling for the public's assistance in locating her after she went missing over the weekend.

Shinelle Stewart, who lives in the United Kingdom, describes her sister as a workaholic and it's not in her nature to go off-grid.

"I've heard a few stories here and there (with) people saying that she might have run off...as her sister, I speak to her...if not every day, at least once a week, that's not in her character," she said.

"She's got goals, she had things that she was working on and she was persistent with her goals so she would never, ever, ever, just run off. Especially working so hard," she said.

John works as a security officer at a warehouse complex in Mission Road, Freeport for the company Umbrella Security. According to reports, she left her home at Orange Field Road, Chase Village about 5.40 am, on Saturday to embark on a five-minute walk to the St Mary's junction to be picked up by a company vehicle to go to work. Despite contacting the driver to indicate she was on her way, she never showed up. She is married to a Trinidadian man.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact the nearest police station or the Hunters Search and Rescue Team at 475-4350 or 320-1167.
