Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley took some time to cel­e­brate with the peo­ple of Guyana on Thurs­day, as the coun­try cel­e­brat­ed its 54th Re­pub­lic Day.

The T&T Prime Min­is­ter al­so spent some time vis­it­ing the Iwokra­ma Riv­er Lodge and Re­search Cen­tre, lo­cat­ed on the west bank of the Es­se­qui­bo.

Row­ley is in Guyana at­tend­ing the En­er­gy Con­fer­ence and Sup­ply Chain Ex­po.

On Row­ley’s Face­book page, he post­ed pho­tographs of the tour of the riv­er and cen­tre, where he ex­plored the an­cient pet­ro­glyphs.

Al­so on Thurs­day, Row­ley was the chief guest at Guyana’s Re­pub­lic An­niver­sary Flag Rais­ing Cer­e­mo­ny.

Guyana Pres­i­dent Dr Mo­hammed Ir­faan Ali, his wife Arya, as well as Guyana Prime Min­is­ter Mark Phillips and his wife Mignon were al­so in at­ten­dance.
