Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has told UNC Senator Anil Roberts that he (Rowley) can take a "horn" if he gets one but "I ent sending nobody to kill anybody."
Dr Rowley was speaking at Tuesday's PNM meeting in Belmont.
The PM delivered a wide-ranging address on a host of national issues.
He also slammed the Opposition for not supporting T&T from pandemic issues to agriculture following non-attendance at the Agri Investment Forum where UNC's presence was limited to protest.
He said many of them (UNC) were before the courts, spoke about a car issue which one UNC member is facing - but defended his team.
Rowley spoke on Robert's recent attacks which had social media abuzz recently.
Rowley at first alluded to a UNC senator whose only accomplishment was to "find out who horning me" and who was "disgracing my wife".
He said his family's back was broad and spine stiff but it was painful to see the Opposition Leader saying to leave her "out of your bacchanal", accusing Roberts of preparing videos to disgrace his wife.
Rowley then told off Roberts.
Rowley spoke on crime including noting the 66 shells pumped into one person at Picton Street, Newtown in May.
He reiterated appeals against community members protecting culprits.
He also said he'd noted the sale of assault rifles in the papers. He added that after the Police Service Commission decided Gary Griffith was the best person for the job of Police Commissioner, his responsibility in giving Griffith a chance in the job was the biggest mistake he'd ever made.
Rowley also spoke about problems in the scrap iron sector including how thieves even stole the gate off the aviation fuel bond at Piarco where a fire could have occurred.
Rowley said he's leaving T&T on the afternoon of September 2 after Finance Minister Colm Imbert presents the Spotlight on the Economy - the curtain raiser to the Budget 2023 to be presented later in September.
Rowley will go to Switzerland to meet Proman, T&T's biggest methanol producer.
He'll also meet Shell and BP by September 10 for negotiations.
Days later he heads to Washington to meet US Vice President Kamala Harris.
He chairs an Energy sub-committee appointed when the Summit of the Americas was held in July.
Admitting road deterioration, Rowley said funds had been prioritised towards pandemic needs but a company is now being appointed in the Local Government Ministry to prioritise road repairs.
He said the Agri-Investment forum will be an annual event and the next will be held for a longer period in South Trinidad like the Jayland Fair of years ago.
Significant prizes will be awarded to farmers for exhibits.
Rowley warned those marching on public servants' issues, the biggest risk they face is if Government can't pay its bills and has to resort to lenders. He said the IMF - whose first conditionality is to cut public services - would love to get its hands on T&T.
