An anti-crime exercise conducted by Eastern Division Police on Indian Arrival Day resulted in the seizure of uniforms belonging to the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service.
Reports say officers executed a search warrant at the home of a man at Blake Avenue, Sangre Grande for Firearms and ammunition.
Nothing illegal was found however a quantity of khaki clothing resembling the uniform of the T&T Prison Service and a khaki-coloured forage cap with the T&T Prison Service logo attached to the front of the cap was found and seized.
He was arrested and taken to the Sangre Grande Police Station
Police say during the same exercise the party of officers executed three search warrants at a home in Williams Drive Junction Trace,Sangre Grande.
Police reportedly found 292 grams of marijuana.
The homeowner was arrested and charged with Possession of cannabis.
