President meets with Cadet Force, Alzheimer’s Assoc.

Pres­i­dent Chris­tine Kan­ga­loo met with the lead­er­ship of the Trinidad and To­ba­go Cadet Force and the Alzheimer’s As­so­ci­a­tion of Trinidad and To­ba­go on Tues­day.

Pres­i­dent Kan­ga­loo, who is the Pa­tron of the T&T Cadet Force, was briefed by Lieu­tenant Colonel Reynold York, Act­ing Com­man­dant, Ma­jor Geneieve Jones-Dos San­tos and Flight Lieu­tenant Bi­lal Milette on the cur­rent state of op­er­a­tions of the Force. The Pres­i­dent al­so dis­cussed up­com­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties for the Pres­i­dent, as Pa­tron, to en­gage with the Cadet Force.

Pres­i­dent Kan­ga­loo then met with Michele Clav­ery, Pres­i­dent, Dr. Liane Conyette-Bowen, Vice Pres­i­dent, and Ms. Es­uye­mi Ogun­banke, Pub­lic Re­la­tions Of­fi­cer of the Alzheimer’s As­so­ci­a­tion of T&T. The dis­cus­sion cen­tred on the his­to­ry and ad­vo­ca­cy of this 20-year-old or­gan­i­sa­tion as well as its cur­rent em­pha­sis on ed­u­ca­tion and train­ing to des­tig­ma­tise Alzheimer’s dis­ease and oth­er de­men­tias.
