President Christine Kangaloo met with the leadership of the Trinidad and Tobago Cadet Force and the Alzheimer’s Association of Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday.
President Kangaloo, who is the Patron of the T&T Cadet Force, was briefed by Lieutenant Colonel Reynold York, Acting Commandant, Major Geneieve Jones-Dos Santos and Flight Lieutenant Bilal Milette on the current state of operations of the Force. The President also discussed upcoming opportunities for the President, as Patron, to engage with the Cadet Force.
President Kangaloo then met with Michele Clavery, President, Dr. Liane Conyette-Bowen, Vice President, and Ms. Esuyemi Ogunbanke, Public Relations Officer of the Alzheimer’s Association of T&T. The discussion centred on the history and advocacy of this 20-year-old organisation as well as its current emphasis on education and training to destigmatise Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
