The Min­istry of Works and Trans­port has an­nounced the tem­po­rary dis­rup­tion to traf­fic on the Churchill Roo­sevelt High­way, West­bound Lane be­tween Ma­coya In­ter­sec­tion and UWI In­ter­sec­tion. The dis­rup­tion will take place on Sun­day 21st No­vem­ber 2021 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. De­tails fol­low in this press re­lease from MOWT:

The Min­istry of Works and Trans­port wish­es to ad­vise the pub­lic that there will be a tem­po­rary traf­fic dis­rup­tion on the Churchill Roo­sevelt High­way- West­bound Lane be­tween Ma­coya In­ter­sec­tion and UWI In­ter­sec­tion. This has be­come nec­es­sary to fa­cil­i­tate Ther­mo­plas­tic Paint Mark­ings on the left lane.

The dis­rup­tion will take place on Sun­day 21st No­vem­ber 2021 from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

►Con­sid­er­ing the above, mo­torists are ad­vised to com­ply with the fol­low­ing:
►Pro­ceed with cau­tion and ob­serve all di­rec­tion­al signs and bar­ri­ers
►Mo­torists should dri­ve at a re­duced speed on ap­proach­ing the work zone
►Com­ply with in­struc­tions from Po­lice Of­fi­cers on-site to fa­cil­i­tate a safe and or­der­ly flow of traf­fic
►Be aware of heavy equip­ment en­ter­ing and ex­it­ing the site
