Prime Min­is­ter Dr Kei­th Row­ley will trav­el to­day to Cal­i­for­nia, USA for a pri­vate trip. Mrs Sharon Row­ley will ac­com­pa­ny the Prime Min­is­ter. 

This was con­firmed via a me­dia state­ment last night from the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter.

It said Min­is­ter of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries and Min­is­ter in the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter Stu­art Young will act as Prime Min­is­ter un­til Dr Row­ley's re­turn.

How­ev­er, the state­ment did not say the ex­act na­ture of the trip or when Dr Row­ley will re­turn. 

Yes­ter­day he re­vealed that he will re­sign as Prime Min­is­ter on March 16. 

Stu­art Young has been iden­ti­fied as his re­place­ment.
