Police have been able to establish the identify of a man who was killed in a shooting incident in Santa Cruz yesterday afternoon. He is said to be Benjamin Emmanuel of Sam Boucaud Road.
The 30-year-old was shot several times around 4:15 pm on Tuesday (July 9), at Tappin Street, off Stollmeyer Road, Cantaro Village.
Reports indicate the victim was riding a bicycle when a car pulled alongside him, and the occupants opened fire on him.
Two other men—aged 35 and 71 years of Tappin Street and Jigga Hill respectively—were injured in the shooting.
They were both said to be in a stable condition today.
