Police are investigating the discovery of human bones behind the carpark of the Flower Pot Beach in Pointe-a-Pierre on Sunday.
Initial reports stated that around 2.10 pm, officers of the Marabella Police Station received information about the skeletal remains.
When they arrived, they found a skull and other bones in a busy area. No clothing or any other items were found at the scene that could assist in identifying the body.
The remains were removed to the Forensic Science Centre pending an autopsy.
