Officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service have recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested three men during an anti-crime operation in the Freeport Police District.
Police stated that the exercise was conducted between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, in keeping with the Operational and Strategic Plans 2025–2026. The initiative targeted priority offenders and identified drug blocks within the district.
Acting on intelligence, officers went to Uquire Road, Freeport, where they recovered a white Nissan Tiida motor vehicle. The vehicle had been reported stolen in the St Joseph Police District on January 7, 2026.
Three men were arrested in connection with larceny of a motor vehicle enquiries. They are a 31-year-old man of Flanagin Town, Brasso, a 28-year-old man of Chaguanas and a 32-year-old man of Freeport.
Police said the operation was coordinated by Senior Superintendent Bhagwandeen, Superintendent Frank and ASP Reyes. Officers attached to the Freeport CID and the Freeport Police Chargeroom also participated in the exercise.
