Three men were arrested after a high-speed chase in St James on Sunday morning, where a loaded firearm and narcotics were also seized.
Police said between 1 am and 5 am, an anti-crime exercise targeting stolen motor vehicles was conducted in the St James by officers assigned to the Western Division Task Force.
At 3.40 am, officers saw a Nissan Almera turning in a reckless manner onto Ethel Street.
Officers pursued the vehicle but the driver did not stop.
The vehicle was eventually intercepted at Dengue Street, near Anderson Street.
Police said a loaded revolver containing three rounds of ammunition, two clear plastic bags containing cocaine, a black ski mask and a brown mask were found and seized.
Three men, ages 39, 34 and 18, were arrested.
