There are 52 new COVID-19 cases in Tobago. This is the highest number of cases recorded in a 24-hour period since March 2020.
The Tobago Regional Health Authority (TRHA) revealed the new statistics in a July 22nd news release.
According to the Authority, there is another COVID-related death, bringing the total number of deaths recorded in Tobago to 32. The deceased is said to be an 83-year-old male with comorbidities.
So far, there are 288 active COVID cases in Tobago, three in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit, 30 in state isolation, and 255 in home isolation.
Vaccinations administered so far totals 11,683, with the number of people who are fully vaccinated now at 9,189, the TRHA reported in its release.
