The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago (MWTT) Pageant is pleased to announce the official sponsorship of the MWTT Top Model Competition by premier automotive dealership Toyota Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TTTL).
The Miss World Trinidad and Tobago Top Model is a sub-competition within the Miss World Trinidad and Tobago pageant and will take place on Saturday 15th October 2022 at Toyota’s San Fernando showroom.
Guardian Media is also the official media partner of Miss World TT.
The Top Model competition will assess the already chosen seventeen (17) top finalists and shine the spotlight on those who can best manage their stage presence in the show’s two segments. Firstly, by modelling swimwear fashioned by Resort-Wear Designer Brand Rhion Romany, and secondly, in High Fashion pieces produced by Trinidad and Tobago’s Top Local Fashion Designers.
National Pageant Director Charu Lochan Dass said she is elated that Toyota Trinidad and Tobago Limited has agreed to collaborate with the franchise on this event, “This is a momentous occasion. We remain overwhelmed by the support of corporate Trinidad and Tobago, and we are pleased to collaborate with a strong entity and brand like Toyota for one of the main segments of the Miss World Pageant. And what makes this even more special, is that Toyota Trinidad and Tobago Limited has agreed to host the event at their showroom in San Fernando.”
Ryan Latchu, President of Toyota Trinidad and Tobago Limited said, “Partnering with Miss World Trinidad and Tobago offers opportunity to young women across the country, who will be able to represent Trinidad and Tobago on the world’s stage, and act as role models to so many others. We believe the Toyota brand will further highlight the modelling talent of these seventeen (17) finalists at the international level, and position our national representative to win the Crown.”
The winner of the Top Model Competition will automatically move on to the semi-finals. The Grand Pageant Finale, where one finalist will be chosen to represent Trinidad and Tobago, will take place on Sunday 6th November 2022 at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port of Spain.
