Trinidad and Tobago women’s hockey team narrowly lost to the USA 2-1 in the Pan Am Hockey 5’s tournament semi-final in Jamaica on Thursday night.
Felicia King gave the T&T stick ladies the lead in the seventh minute, before a double from Linnea Gonzales secured the come-from-behind win for the USA.
The stick ladies will now play Paraguay in the third-place playoff for a spot in the Hockey 5’s World Cup on Saturday.
