Celebrities on the runway at fundraising fashion brunch

The Rapid­fire Kidz Foun­da­tion (RKF) will host a daz­zling fash­ion event, Fash­ion­ista—The Celebri­ty Fash­ion Brunch, at the Achiev­ers Ban­quet Hall in San Fer­nan­do to­mor­row.

This styl­ish af­fair is not your typ­i­cal brunch and run­way show—it promis­es a glam­orous twist with an im­pres­sive ros­ter of celebri­ty mod­els from var­i­ous sec­tors.

The event will fea­ture high-pro­file names such as Miss World 1986 Giselle Laronde-West, Guardian Me­dia’s Bavi­ta Gopaulchan, ac­tress Ce­cil­ia Salazar, 2020 Ca­lyp­so Monarch Ter­ri Lyons, for­mer Sen­a­tor Jayan­ti Lutch­me­di­al, Miss World T&T 2016 Daniel­la Wal­cott, for­mer CNC3 news an­chor Shelly Dass, for­mer In­de­pen­dent Sen­a­tor Rev Joy Ab­dul-Mo­han, and TTT News An­chor Seigo­nie Mo­hammed.

For­mer Miss Uni­verse T&T and politi­cian Nicole Dy­er-Grif­fith will share mas­ter of cer­e­monies du­ties with RKF Pres­i­dent Kevin Rati­ram at the event.

Rati­ram shared his en­thu­si­asm, re­veal­ing that the event is al­ready sold out.

“Fash­ion­ista isn’t just some­thing new to the south­land. It’s just new. The RKF is al­ways think­ing out­side the box, and look­ing for new and im­proved ways to en­ter­tain our sup­port­ers,” he said.

“Not on­ly do we have celebri­ty mod­els,but we have some of the best de­sign­ers in the coun­try sup­ply­ing the cloth­ing, name­ly Clau­dia Pe­gus, Ne­ha Ka­ri­na, and Zadd and East­man. Our pro­duc­er is Mr Richard Young, who’s the best in the busi­ness.”

Rati­ram ad­ed that RKF’s mem­bers will be join­ing the celebri­ty cast on the run­way.

Rev Joy Ab­dul-Mo­han, who al­so serves as RKF’s Vice-Pres­i­dent, said the pro­gramme in­cludes a line-up of pop­u­lar per­form­ers such as Tri­cia Lee Kelshall, vi­o­lin­ist An­dre Don­awa, Joel John, and pan­nist Rawle Moti­lal.

Guests will al­so have chances to win lux­u­ry prizes, in­clud­ing a stone mas­sage from Spa Es­en­cia at the Hy­att, one month’s gym mem­ber­ship at Raw Fit­ness Health Club, a $500 din­ner vouch­er from Top­pers Restau­rant and a $500 gift vouch­er from Se­quins cloth­ing store, four movie tick­ets from Movi­eTowne, and a bot­tle of Moet Cham­pagne from Bal­ly’s Quick­mart.

Rati­ram ex­pressed his deep ap­pre­ci­a­tion for the mod­els and de­sign­ers, all of whom are con­tribut­ing their time and tal­ent vol­un­tar­i­ly to sup­port the Foun­da­tion’s cause.
