The Rapidfire Kidz Foundation (RKF) will host a dazzling fashion event, Fashionista—The Celebrity Fashion Brunch, at the Achievers Banquet Hall in San Fernando tomorrow.
This stylish affair is not your typical brunch and runway show—it promises a glamorous twist with an impressive roster of celebrity models from various sectors.
The event will feature high-profile names such as Miss World 1986 Giselle Laronde-West, Guardian Media’s Bavita Gopaulchan, actress Cecilia Salazar, 2020 Calypso Monarch Terri Lyons, former Senator Jayanti Lutchmedial, Miss World T&T 2016 Daniella Walcott, former CNC3 news anchor Shelly Dass, former Independent Senator Rev Joy Abdul-Mohan, and TTT News Anchor Seigonie Mohammed.
Former Miss Universe T&T and politician Nicole Dyer-Griffith will share master of ceremonies duties with RKF President Kevin Ratiram at the event.
Ratiram shared his enthusiasm, revealing that the event is already sold out.
“Fashionista isn’t just something new to the southland. It’s just new. The RKF is always thinking outside the box, and looking for new and improved ways to entertain our supporters,” he said.
“Not only do we have celebrity models,but we have some of the best designers in the country supplying the clothing, namely Claudia Pegus, Neha Karina, and Zadd and Eastman. Our producer is Mr Richard Young, who’s the best in the business.”
Ratiram aded that RKF’s members will be joining the celebrity cast on the runway.
Rev Joy Abdul-Mohan, who also serves as RKF’s Vice-President, said the programme includes a line-up of popular performers such as Tricia Lee Kelshall, violinist Andre Donawa, Joel John, and pannist Rawle Motilal.
Guests will also have chances to win luxury prizes, including a stone massage from Spa Esencia at the Hyatt, one month’s gym membership at Raw Fitness Health Club, a $500 dinner voucher from Toppers Restaurant and a $500 gift voucher from Sequins clothing store, four movie tickets from MovieTowne, and a bottle of Moet Champagne from Bally’s Quickmart.
Ratiram expressed his deep appreciation for the models and designers, all of whom are contributing their time and talent voluntarily to support the Foundation’s cause.
