Investigators have recovered ammunition belonging to the T&T Regiment at the scene where a 26-year-old man was fatally shot.
Around 1 a.m. on Crown Trace, the victim was found dead in his vehicle, a silver Nissan Tiida with the registration PDB 8646, parked near the intersection of Egypt Trace Extension and Crown Trace.
Responders discovered the car locked and idling, prompting them to break in. Inside, they found the man dead from gunshot wounds.
The scene revealed a significant amount of ammunition, including live rounds and spent shell casings.
Investigators are looking into the source of the marked ammunition. No suspects have been identified at this time, and officials are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
