Two men have appeared before an Arima Magistrate, charged with the murder of Clinton Changa, which occurred on September 14.
Marlon Dick, 34, and Kellon Agard, 23, both of Arouca, were charged with the offence when they appeared in the Arima Magistrates’ Court, on September 26.
The matter was adjourned to October 24th, 2023.
Changa, aka ‘Chucky’, 29, of Arouca, was at a bar in the district on September 14, when he got into an altercation with other patrons. During the incident, he was allegedly struck by a motor vehicle, attacked by patrons and dealt several stab wounds about
his body. The victim was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital.
An investigation into the matter resulted in the arrest of two suspects by officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations (HBI)
Region Two and the Arouca Police Station, on September 16 and September 18, respectively.
Dick and Agard, were charged with the offence by PC Mc Queen, also of HBI Region Two, on Sunday 24th September, 2023, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC, on September 22
