Homi­cide de­tec­tives are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a shoot­ing in­ci­dent in Mal­ick which re­sult­ed in the death of two peo­ple and three oth­ers be­ing in­jured.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports around 5.45 pm to­day a group of peo­ple were lim­ing at 6th Av­enue in Mal­ick when gun­men ex­it­ed a black car and opened fire.

All five were rushed to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex in Mt Hope.

Dead are An­tho­ny Sergeant and Kun­ta An­drews.

Rac­quel Ro­driguez, Kamine Naitram and An­ton St Vin­cent are said to be nurs­ing bul­let wounds.

In an un­re­lat­ed in­ci­dent a 22-year-old has been shot dead in Mal­oney Gar­dens.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports Bevon Grant was killed fol­low­ing a dri­ve­by shoot­ing around 8.30 p.m
