The North-East­ern Di­vi­sion (NED) record­ed two more killings, hours apart be­tween Thurs­day and yes­ter­day, which brought the over­all mur­der count to 568.

In the lat­est in­ci­dent, po­lice said around 11 am yes­ter­day, a man iden­ti­fied as Daniel Has­san died af­ter be­ing shot mul­ti­ple times at Maitugual, Up­per Pe­tit Bourg.

Res­i­dents re­port­ed hear­ing gun­shots and when they checked they found Has­san ly­ing face down on the road.

Mean­while, a man iden­ti­fied as Nigel “Pose Rat” Smith was gunned down along Mt Hope Road, San Juan, just af­ter 4 pm on Thurs­day.

In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing in­to both killings.
