The US Em­bassy in Port-of-Spain is ad­vis­ing Amer­i­cans liv­ing in Trinidad and To­ba­go who wish to re­turn to the US that it had or­gan­ised a pri­vate char­ter flight sched­uled to de­part Port-of-Spain for Mi­a­mi on April 1 at noon.

In a re­lease sent yes­ter­day, the em­bassy said peo­ple wish­ing to book trav­el on this flight can call (603) 929-9300 or send an e-mail to ClientSer­vices@PJS­Group.com.

The em­bassy said it is a char­ter flight and as such the cost of a tick­et will be sub­stan­tial­ly high­er than typ­i­cal com­mer­cial fares. Those in­ter­est­ed must have valid trav­el doc­u­ments to board the flight.

The em­bassy al­so ad­vised that this was the on­ly flight to the US avail­able for the fore­see­able fu­ture.

“All who do not trav­el on this flight should be pre­pared to re­main in T&T un­til reg­u­lar­ly sched­uled com­mer­cial flights to the Unit­ed States re­sume,” it said.
