According to an official release from The UWI, today’s virtual town hall follows on communiques beginning early March, regarding the health, safety, and well-being of students during the global pandemic COVID-19.
After a brief suspension of classes, online teaching began on March 16 for the Faculty of Law; for all other Faculties, virtual instruction began the week of Mach 23.
This afternoon’s Virtual Town Hall will address student matters related to remote teaching and learning, examinations, and more. Students have been invited to submit their questions in advance.
The UWI says today’s meeting is intended to be the first in a series of virtual sessions that will target several members of the campus community, to support the ongoing engagements.
