WASA: Service and Traffic disruption in parts of Central Trinidad

A leak­ing  12” di­am­e­ter pipeline, in the vicin­i­ty of the Preysal fly­over has caused a dis­rup­tion in wa­ter sup­ply for cus­tomers in parts of Cen­tral Trinidad.
Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lase from the Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty emer­gency re­pair works are sched­uled for to­day and are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by 3:00 pm.
Af­fect­ed ar­eas in­clude, Mayo, Tor­tu­ga, In­di­an Trail, Grand Cou­va, Bras­so and Pep­per Vil­lage. 

Traf­fic Ad­vi­so­ry:

Mo­torists are ad­vised that dur­ing the course of these works, there will be a tem­po­rary clo­sure of the north-bound lane of the Uri­ah But­ler High­way at the Preysal fly­over, with all north-bound traf­fic be­ing di­vert­ed on to the Preysal fly­over. Mo­torists are asked to pro­ceed with cau­tion when ap­proach­ing the job­site and to obey the signs and in­struc­tions of Traf­fic Con­trol Of­fi­cers on du­ty.
