Parts of Southwest Trinidad will be without a pipe-borne water supply until tonight, as emergency repairs are carried out on the Granville Water Treatment Plant.
Water supplies may not be fully restored until over the weekend, in some districts.

SUPPLY DISRUPTION TO PARTS OF SOUTH WEST TRINIDAD
The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in parts of South West Trinidad served by the Granville Water Treatment Plant, who are currently without a pipe borne supply, that this is due to mechanical problems that developed at the Plant on Thursday 2nd April, 2020.
Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 p.m. on Friday 3rd April, 2020.
Areas affected include:
• Granville
• Cedros
• Icacos
• Coromandel
• Fullerton
• Los Gallos
• Bonasse
• Bamboo
Customers are advised that it may take up to 48 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
