An­neliese Rose, un­doubt­ed­ly one of T&T's most dec­o­rat­ed women's ten­nis play­er, was ho­n­oured by the In­ter­na­tion­al Ten­nis Fed­er­a­tion (ITF) for her con­tri­bu­tion and ded­i­ca­tion to the sport.

She has rep­re­sent­ed T&T in­ter­na­tion­al­ly with ex­cel­lence on the ITF Ju­nior tour, the ITF Pro tour and Fed Cup. Though based in the Unit­ed States, Rose has had an il­lus­tri­ous ju­nior ca­reer, achiev­ing a ca­reer-high ITF Ju­nior rank­ing of 159 in sin­gles and 161 in dou­bles to­geth­er, with mul­ti­ple na­tion­al ju­nior cham­pi­onships.

Now 41, Rose has re­cent­ly start­ed the ITF pro­fes­sion­al tour and cur­rent­ly holds a rank­ing in the sin­gles and dou­bles. Her great­est ac­com­plish­ments, how­ev­er, has been in the Fed Cup team tour­na­ments where she has rep­re­sent­ed T&T 14 times, and in the process, she amassed a stel­lar record of 55 wins and 33 loss­es.

She holds all of the TTO records for Fed Cup and was even rec­og­nized by Fed Cup with a Com­mit­ment Award in 2017. The In­ter­na­tion­al Ten­nis Fed­er­a­tion at it 2019 An­nu­al Gen­er­al Meet­ing & Con­fer­ence in Lis­bon Por­tu­gal, rec­og­nized Rose with an “ITF Award for Ser­vice to the Game”.

Af­ter­wards, Rose ex­pressed her grat­i­tude to the ITF for be­stow­ing the award up­on her, as well as to the Ten­nis As­so­ci­a­tion of T&T for the sup­port shown to her over the years.
