The trio of Bishop Anstey High School Port-of-Spain (Girls), Hillview College (Boys), and Vessigny Secondary (Co-Educational) repeated as divisional champions when the Aquatic Sports Association of T&T’s (ASATT) National Secondary Schools Swimming Championship took place at the National Aquatic Centre in Balmain, Couva on Sunday.

In the Girls Division, Bishop Anstey High amassed 220 points, mainly through the contributions of their non-competitive swimmers who garnered 125 points for the top spot, just three points ahead of rivals and four-time champions Holy Name Convent, Port-of-Spain’s 217, with St Joseph Convent (PoS), a distant third with 186 followed by St Augustine Girls High with 126, and St Joseph Convent (St Joseph), fifth with 114

However, 2020 winners Hillview College managed to not only claim the Boys crown with 242 points, ahead of Bishop Anstey (PoS), but they also swam away with the Overall team title with Queen’s Royal College (218.5), St Mary’s College (212), Fatima College (205.5), and Presentation College of San Fernando (96) completed the top five in the boys.

Vessigny Secondary continued their dominance of the Co-Educational competition with 79 points, with Northgate, well beaten in the second spot with 37, two ahead of Arima North Secondary.
