“Fan favourites, Bri­an Lara Mem­o­rable Match­es” is the ti­tle of the re­cent­ly pub­lished 325-page book re­searched, writ­ten and pro­duced by Nass­er Khan.

The book, Khan’s 25th pub­li­ca­tion, spon­sored by First Cit­i­zens, Blue Wa­ters, Health Net Caribbean and Eniath’s Print­ery, is pri­mar­i­ly a youth lit­er­a­cy-ed­u­ca­tion ini­tia­tive that seeks to ed­u­cate, in­spire and mo­ti­vate es­pe­cial­ly its younger read­ers. It is filled with lessons for its read­ers in what it means to per­se­vere and sur­mount life chal­lenges in what­ev­er your field of en­deav­or may be.

Re­cent­ly hand­ed over to the Min­istry of Ed­u­ca­tion, the book, with Fore­words by the Ho­n­ourable Min­is­ters of Ed­u­ca­tion and Sport as well as Sir Clive Lloyd and Daren Gan­ga, will be dis­trib­uted to all 130 plus high schools in Trinidad and To­ba­go, two copies per school, as well as NALIS li­braries, the Na­tion­al Archives, UWI, UTT and oth­er de­serv­ing in­sti­tu­tions and will not be avail­able for sale.

The au­thor’s pre­vi­ous pub­li­ca­tion, in cel­e­bra­tion of T&T's 60th In­de­pen­dence An­niver­sary (Au­gust 31st 2022), was an E-BOOK en­ti­tled “Pro­files: 400+ He­roes, Pi­o­neers and Role Mod­els of Trinidad & To­ba­go” ac­ces­si­ble at https://epub.sa­faripub­li­ca­tions.com/firstc­i­t­i­zen­stt/pro­files/.
