T&T’s Kale Dalla Costa closed off a great week at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Central American and Caribbean Tennis Confederation (COTECC) Tobago Carnival Cup, winning the boys’ Under-14 singles title before combining with Aaron Subero to also win the doubles final, yesterday.
In the singles, second-ranked Dalla Costa upset the top seed Adrian Clarke overpowering his Barbadian opponent in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 to claim the title at the National Racquet Centre Orange Grove Road in Tacarigua.

Later, Dalla Costa was back on the court with Subero contesting the doubles final versus the team of Clarke and Hastick. The T&T pair dominated the first set, 6-2, before their opponent fought back to take the secnd second set 4-6. The decider turned out be an exciting one but it was Dalla Costa and partner Subero claiming the final set, 10-7.
