E-Z Lines, lead­ers of the A Di­vi­sion, tight­ened their grip on the top spot when ac­tion con­tin­ued in the 501 Na­tion­al League of Darts on match day 12, last Tues­day at the home of darts, Kos­mos Mem­bers Club in Port-of-Spain .

E-Z Lines took on Cen­tral Bank Shoot­ers of the B di­vi­sion and the A di­vi­sion lead­ers were 4-1 up at one stage but the score line did not re­flect the fight from the Shoot­ers as most games went to a de­cid­ing third leg. E-Z Lines even­tu­al­ly won 7-3.

Dartholics, the sec­ond-place team in the A Di­vi­sion, dom­i­nat­ed Bull­dogs in a 9-1 vic­to­ry. Kem­mons Ram­cha­ran of Dartholics scored a 180. DOGS took on Sea Wolves and al­most made a clean sweep win­ning 9-1. Bul­lz I are out of the rel­e­ga­tion zone af­ter an ex­cit­ing 5-5 draw with Scor­pi­ons.

Bul­lz I took a 4-0 lead go­ing in­to the sin­gles round but the ex­pe­ri­ence of the Scor­pi­ons shined through win­ning all 5 of the sin­gles in what was a bril­liant come­back but they could not at­tain vic­to­ry as Bul­lz I were able to win the 1001.

Cap­tain of the Scor­pi­ons Sher­az Ra­sool scored a 180 which makes it 3 max­i­mums in 3 match­es. David Al­zo­la of Scor­pi­ons checked out 110 (triple 20, sin­gle 10, dou­ble 20). Drifters were on the end of a very heavy de­feat as they took on B di­vi­sion lead­ers Jus For Fun los­ing 9-1. Charles As­sess of Jus For Fun once again with a high check out this time a 121 ( triple 20, sin­gle 11, Bulls­eye!!).

Shang­hai Bulls main­tain their un­beat­en run as they at­tempt to avoid rel­e­ga­tion bat­tling to a 5-5 draw with Pub House Pi­rates. The Bulls took an ear­ly lead but al­lowed the Pi­rates back in the con­test shar­ing the spoils. Ian Ema­malie of the Scor­pi­ons took out 103 (triple 19, sin­gle 14 dou­ble 16) in his very tough sin­gles match against cap­tain of the Pi­rates Paul Mor­ris. Ran­dom Squad se­cured their first win of the sea­son de­feat­ing Top Shot 7-3.

Cap­tain of Ran­dom Squad Mike Singh scored a 180. Match day 13 will on­ly fea­ture the B di­vi­sion teams as the A di­vi­sion has a bye, but the ac­tion in store will be ex­cit­ing as Jus For Fun goes head-to-head with Pub House Pi­rates for one fi­nal time. There will be an open grab bag tour­na­ment to keep the A Di­vi­sion play­ers sharp for up­com­ing tri­als for the Caribbean Cup to be held in Ja­maica in Ju­ly 2024.
