Bri­an Har­richa­ran pulled off a stun­ning up­set of third-ranked Boys 10 and Un­der play­er Liev Khan when match­es in the 17th an­nu­al Sagi­cor Ju­nior Ten­nis Tour­na­ment con­tin­ued at the Trinidad Coun­try Club, Long Cir­cu­lar, Mar­aval on Sun­day.

Play­ing in one of the ear­ly match­es on court, Har­richa­ran won 6-2 while Con­nor Car­ring­ton stopped Jack Brown 6-2 as well, Scott Abra­ham whipped Justin Hors­ford 6-3, Ryan Au­gus­tine dumped Nicholas Abra­ham 6-4.

There were no such prob­lems for the top-ranked play­ers in the Girls 10 and Un­der, Boys 12 and Un­der, Girls 12 and Un­der, Boys 16 and Un­der and Girls 16 and Un­der.

In the Girls 10 and Un­der top-seed­ed Gabriel­la Prince pun­ished Zahra Sham­si 6-2 and sec­ond-ranked Shiloh Walk­er blanked Karis­sa Mo­hammed 6-0.

Alexan­der Mer­ry, the num­ber one Boys 12 and Un­der seed was a walkover win­ner against Dy­lan Boocock while Isa­iah Box­ill, Jordell Chap­man, Cal­lum Koy­lass, Jay­den Mitchell, Lo­gan Hamel-Smith and Yeshowah Camp­bell-Smith, the sec­ond, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and sev­enth seeds re­spec­tive­ly al­so won.

Box­ill over­came Rizwaan Mo­hammed 4-2, 4-1, Champ­man trounced Gur­keer­at Singh So­hal 4-0, 4-0, Koy­lass slammed Aaron Subero 4-1, 4-0, Mitchell beat Adam Macken­zie 4-2, 4-0, Hamel-Smith crushed Mal­colm Princes 4-0, 4-0, and Camp­bell-Smith topped Aasir El­der, by a sim­i­lar 4-0, 4-0 mar­gin.

Inara Chin Lee, the num­ber one Girls 12 and Un­der play­er out­classed Neila Maraj 4-1, 4-0 and her sis­ter, Abi­gail Chin Lee, seed­ed sec­ond won 4-0, 4-0 against Bri­an­na Har­richa­ran.

Ethan Wong lived up to his top seed­ing in the 16 and Un­der Boys, by ham­mer­ing Alex-Jaden Du­rand 6-0, 6-0 and was joined by sec­ond-ranked Se­bas­t­ian Sylvester who al­so won with­out drop­ping a game, against Em­manuel Porther, while num­ber three play­er, Charles De­vaux spanked Ryan Cony­ers 6-1, 6-1.

And in the Girls 16 and Un­der, top play­er Aal­isha Alex­is slaugh­tered Adalia Bardroe 6-0, 6-0, and num­ber two, Is­abel Abra­ham over­whelmed Gab­by Macken­zie 6-2, 6-2 while third-ranked Shau­na Valen­tine brushed aside Syd­ney Doyle 6-0, 6-0.
