To­bag­o­ni­ans Josi­ah Hills and Make­da Bain car­ried their haul of ti­tles to three each when they won two more fi­nals each in the Lease Op­er­a­tors Lim­it­ed Ju­nior Ten­nis Tour­na­ment at the Na­tion­al Rac­quet Cen­tre in Tacarigua, on Sunday.

Win­ners of their re­spec­tive Un­der-14 Di­vi­sion Sin­gles ti­tles a week ago at the same venue, both Hills and Bain added the U-16 Sin­gles ac­co­lades as well as the Se­nior Dou­bles crowns to their tal­lies.

First up, the third-ranked Hills made light work of ‘gi­ant-killer Ja­cob Jacelon 6-4, 6-3 in the Boys’ U-16 de­cider to fol­low up on his win over Ni­rav Dougdeen 6-3, 6-1 in the U-14 de­cider, a week ago.

The top-ranked Hills then teamed up with Dougdeen to claim the Se­nior Boys Dou­bles with a straight­for­ward 6-4, 6-0 de­feat of Jack Brown and Christo­pher Khan.

Ear­li­er on in the semi­fi­nals, Hills and Dougdeen oust­ed Noah Blanc and Jay­sean Wells 6-0, 6-3 while Brown and Khan de­feat­ed Con­nor Car­ring­ton and Jacelon 2-6, 6-3, 10-4.

This af­ter, Hills and Dougdeen won their quar­ter­fi­nal on Sat­ur­day night against Deron Du­mas and Daniel Ra­haman by walkover while Car­ring­ton and Jacelon beat Oliv­er Har­ra­gin and Dar­ius Ra­haman 6-2, 4-6, 10-4, Brown and Khan bet­tered Jo­van Garib­ana and Justin Hors­ford 7-5, 6-4, and Blanc and Wells pow­ered past Javed Dowlat and Jaiden Gor­mandy 6-3, 6-2.

Bain, who hum­bled Madi­son Khan 6-3, 6-3 for the U-14 crown a week ago re­peat­ed her tri­umph in their sec­ond straight fi­nals meet­ing by the same mar­gin, 6-3, 6-3 yes­ter­day.

In the Se­nior Girls Dou­bles cham­pi­onship match, Bain and Lil­ly Mo­hammed, the top-seed­ed duo, out­played Khan and Eva Pasea in a marathon con­test 6-0, 4-6, 10-8.

In the semi­fi­nals, Bain and Mo­hammed dumped Zahra Sham­si and Shiloh Walk­er 7-5, 6-0 while Khan and Pasea beat Suri Ram­cha­ran and Charis Sali­na 6-1, 6-4.

On Sat­ur­day in the quar­ter­fi­nals, Bain and Mo­hammed were on a bye while Khan and Pasea ral­lied past Karis­sa Mo­hammed and Cyra Ram­cha­ran 5-7, 7-5, 10-7; Sham­si and Walk­er spanked Lau­ra-Li Mail­lard and Ana Sanchez 6-2, 6-2, and Ram­cha­ran and Sali­na out­last­ed Nao­mi Mo­hammed and Charde Sylvester 6-2, 1-6, 10-8.

In the U-18 cat­e­go­ry fi­nals, Nao­mi Camp­bell whipped Mail­lard 6-3, 6-4 to top the four-play­er round-robin se­ries with a 3-0 record with the lat­ter sec­ond at 2-1, and Sanchez de­feat­ing Sali­na 6-2, 6-3 to avoid the wood­en spoon among the girls while Daniel Ra­haman won the three-play­er boys round-robin with vic­to­ries over Jay­den Mitchell, and Deron Du­mas.
