Moul­ton Hall Methodist Pri­ma­ry School cap­tured all awards in the Pri­ma­ry Schools cat­e­go­ry (8-12) of the Ch­aguara­mas De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­i­ty’s (CDA) Ju­nior Golf Pro­gramme Awards Cer­e­mo­ny.

Held Sun­day at the An­chor­age, Harts Cut, Ch­aguara­mas, Moul­ton Hall Methodist bagged the awards for “Best Chip­ping”, “Best Put­ter” and “Best Pitch­ing” with the awards go­ing to Anaya Prince, Daisha Ali and Ar­i­an­na Lums­den, re­spec­tive­ly.

In the Sec­ondary Schools cat­e­go­ry (13-16), “Best Chip­ping” was award­ed to Janique Dou­glas of Di­a­mond Vale Gov­ern­ment Pri­ma­ry, with “Best Put­ter” and “Best Pitch­ing” be­ing award­ed to Cher­ine Mitchell of Bish­op Anstey High School and Kem­mya Clin­ton of Tran­quil­i­ty Sec­ondary re­spec­tive­ly. The best over­all ju­nior golfer was Ronal­do Hug­gins of Diego Mar­tin Boys’ RC School.

The Awards cer­e­mo­ny saw more than 150 stu­dents from schools with­in Port-of-Spain and en­vi­rons re­ceiv­ing medals and cer­tifi­cates in both the In­ter­me­di­ate and Ad­vanced Lev­els Golf­ing. The prac­tice ses­sions were held this term at the Ch­aguara­mas Golf Course with head golf coach, Stephen Bish­op, as­sist­ed by Ken­rick Ap­pari­cio.
