Moulton Hall Methodist Primary School captured all awards in the Primary Schools category (8-12) of the Chaguaramas Development Authority’s (CDA) Junior Golf Programme Awards Ceremony.
Held Sunday at the Anchorage, Harts Cut, Chaguaramas, Moulton Hall Methodist bagged the awards for “Best Chipping”, “Best Putter” and “Best Pitching” with the awards going to Anaya Prince, Daisha Ali and Arianna Lumsden, respectively.
In the Secondary Schools category (13-16), “Best Chipping” was awarded to Janique Douglas of Diamond Vale Government Primary, with “Best Putter” and “Best Pitching” being awarded to Cherine Mitchell of Bishop Anstey High School and Kemmya Clinton of Tranquility Secondary respectively. The best overall junior golfer was Ronaldo Huggins of Diego Martin Boys’ RC School.
The Awards ceremony saw more than 150 students from schools within Port-of-Spain and environs receiving medals and certificates in both the Intermediate and Advanced Levels Golfing. The practice sessions were held this term at the Chaguaramas Golf Course with head golf coach, Stephen Bishop, assisted by Kenrick Apparicio.
