Port-of-Spain and Environs Education District Schools dominated the T&T Secondary Schools Track and Field Association's (TTSSTFA) Relay Festival held at the Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar, Arima on Thursday.
Queen’s Royal College (QRC) ran away in imperious fashion to win the Champion School Boys title at the this year’s edition of the Relay Festival. They finished ahead of St Anthony’s College who tallied 102 points with Fatima College making it a 1-2-3 for Port-of-Spain and environs schools.
In the Girls category, Bishop Anstey of Port-of-Spain beat rival Toco Secondary by 62 points to win the title impressively. Arima Central Secondary was third with 64 points.
However, Toco Secondary School defended its title of overall champion of the Festival in front of an appreciative crowd. Toco Secondary participated in all 29 events and amassed a total of 236 points. Bishop Anstey secured the second spot with 180 points.
