T&T men's beach vol­ley­ball duo of Stephen Enile and Josi­ah Butch­er will be one of 15 teams com­pet­ing in the sixth stop of the NORCE­CA Beach Vol­ley­ball Tour at the renowned Playa Azul, lo­cat­ed next to Plaza Pun­to Bahía in Man­zanil­lo, Col­i­ma, Mex­i­co, from Fri­day (Au­gust 29) un­til Sun­day (Au­gust 31).

The event will fea­ture the best beach vol­ley­ball pairs from North Amer­i­ca, Cen­tral Amer­i­ca, and the Caribbean, of­fer­ing fans a vi­brant sea­side at­mos­phere com­bined with high-lev­el com­pe­ti­tion.

This is Enile’s third tour­na­ment on the NORCE­CA Tour this sea­son, while it will mark the first for Butch­er, who re­places Enile’s pre­vi­ous play­ing part­ner, Joel Theodore.

Ear­li­er this sea­son, Enile and Theodore com­pet­ed in the open­ing stop of the tour in Va­radero, Cu­ba, and placed 15th. That was fol­lowed by a 12th-placed fin­ish on the sec­ond stop in Juan Do­lio, Do­mini­can Re­pub­lic, and an 18th-placed fin­ish on the third leg in Puer­to Cortés, Hon­duras.

T&T had no rep­re­sen­ta­tion at the two events in Ju­ly, which was the fourth stop in Modero, Tamauli­pas, Mex­i­co, as well as the fifth leg in Para­mari­bo, Suri­name, but will now make a re­turn to the tour where they will face com­pe­ti­tion from USA, Cana­da, Guatemala, Venezuela, Cu­ba, Puer­to Ri­co, Cos­ta Ri­ca, El Sal­vador, and host Mex­i­co.

And among the women, T&T's Ap­phia Glas­gow and La Teisha Joseph were 12th in the first leg be­fore Paige Alexan­der and Mee­ka John­son fin­ished 16th, re­spec­tive­ly, at Juan Do­lio Beach in the Do­mini­can Re­pub­lic.
